Why does God allow suffering? Why does He not
intervene for his faithful ones? For a child? These were
the questions presented to Julie Beth Little when she found out
her daughter, Molly, was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Wanting to find answers and understand these very
questions, Julie set out on a long and difficult course to
discover who God really is and what faith looks like.
On June 17, 2014, Molly, Julie’s middle daughter was
diagnosed with DIPG, a rare and terminal brain cancer. As
she and her husband, Peter, sifted through all the hard
questions and emotions, they decided to share their
journey publicly with hopes that others would be helped
along the way. As the days and weeks ticked on, they
realized that this was so much more than cancer,
treatments, and grief. This was going to be a place of
understanding, growth, and faith.
