Endangered Species

This book represents an opportunity to inform students about animal species that are endangered or have gone extinct, and to integrate all areas of the curriculum in the process. With projects that involve literature, science facts, creative writing, research skills, art, and math, students will find out why animals become endangered or extinct, why are some of them hunted, how does the environment effect them, and what is being done — and can be done in the future — to save them.
